First Trust Adds Clean Energy and Ex-Tech Funds

First Trust Portfolios LP have added two new ETFs as of February 14th, 2007.

The First Trust NASDAQ-100 Ex-Tech Sector Index Fund (QQXT) tracks the non-technology companies (consumer goods, health care, industrials, etc.) from the Nasdaq-100 Index. Currently, 58 stocks are included, with annual reconstitution, quarterly rebalancing, and semi-annual distributions.

The First Trust NASDAQ Clean Edge U.S. Liquid Series Index Fund (QCLN) tracks clean-energy/alternative energy companies (biofuel, solar power, etc). Currently, 45 stocks are included, with semi-annual reconstitution, quarterly rebalancing, and semi-annual distributions.
